  The Langen Foundation is a charitable foundation. In 2026, American artist Adam Pendleton was exhibiting there. 

  Can I Be? is a comprehensive solo exhibition by Adam Pendleton, bringing together key bodies of work spanning painting, drawing, sculpture, video and installation.

  Lucian Thum was responsible for the extensive painting and drywall work involved in preparing the exhibition spaces. All work was carried out to the highest standards of precision and craftsmanship, exceeding the usual tolerances, in order to meet the requirements of the artist and the curators. For example, one room required completely black surfaces. To achieve the required finish, the ceilings and walls had to be coated several times.
